The Ladymatic is on the watchmaking market since 1955, becoming popular for its timepieces created particularly for women. Nowadays, the Omega is the one that revives the brand, combining the other day gentility with novelty and offering continuity to the better part of the Ladymatic.
Omega De Ville Ladymatic comprises in itself a remarkable design and practical technical features. It reveals the true core of watchmaking process. This delicate Swiss model is manufactured for women who care for their priceless time.
The watch has a mother-of-pearl dial on an 18K red gold case of 34 mm diameter. It is surrounded by a shiny line of diamonds and has a fine-drawn date window at the 3 o'clock position. As well, the dial is available with 11 diamond-set indexes. The interior of the watch is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass material with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The white leather straps are just meant to wrap the woman's fine, thin wrist.
This Ladymatic model works due to the Omega Co-Axial calibre 8521, each movement being equipped with Omega's unique Si14 silicon balance spring – an innovation which proved to be extremely resistant to external shocks and environmental disturbances. Moreover, the transparent case back permits you to aim each movement from the interior of your watch. The case body which has a white ceramic inner surrounded by a golden ring contains the free sprung-balance system. The automatic winding is oriented to both directions. The power reserve is of 50 hours.
Omega De Ville Ladymatic 34mm Model includes a range of features, like the label “Chronometer”, which is attributed to watches that successfully passed the precision test and received a special certificate from the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC). Moreover, the watch is water-resistant, this technical feature being provided by a self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case. This kind of model is water resistant to a relative pressure of 10 bars (100 meters/330 feet).
If you decided to pamper yourself and buy this watch for you, then know that you have to receive a four-year international warranty. Also, you should get acknowledged with how to wear correctly your Ladymatic wrist watch.
First of all, the crown has three positions. The normal position or the wearing position is when the crown is set against the case, ensuring in this way that your timepiece is water-resistant. If you did not wear your watch for more than 50 hours, then be sure that you winded up the crown in normal position. If you want to rectify the date, pull the crown out to position 2, turn the crown forwards, and then push the crown back to the wearing position. We advise you not to set the date between 8 PM and 2 AM. If you want to set time (hours-minutes-seconds), then use the third position of the crown. If you pulled the crown to the third position in the right way, the second hand should stop. Then, all you have to do is synchronize the time and push the crown back to position number 1.
The watch is easy to wear and simple to put on. For this, put it on your wrist and close the clasp by pushing on it with your thumb until hearing a click. Take it off by pressing the two pushers and pulling it upwards. If you feel that your Omega watch is falling from your wrist or it is too tight for you, use the longer section from the two slideways and from the catch to adjust the length according to your needs.
